Whether it is a diagonal, a vertical or a horizontal line I love playing with geometry. Buildings are some very interesting subjects to choose for that purpose, since they offer a rather easy-to-spot symmetrical environment.
After taking those pictures separately and gathering them together afterwards, I thought they would make a pretty color scale, from yellow to pink - what do you think?

Nice series. Lyon suits you well ;)
ReplyDeleteI do think you're right : they make a pretty good color scale. One could take one stunning photo, technically perfect, at a special of the day, of a particular event, but it would just make a beautiful capture of an instant. You manage to do even more : you take pictures of things none would ever dare to point his lens at, and then, you gather all the pictures you took this way and decide to make associations on resemblances/oppositions/stories that stick out. You've got a true artistic mind, and you're brave enough to follow it and express it : this is not as common as you might think.
Your photos shine thanks to the vision you convey through them. Life looks a lot more interesting through your lens. More intriguing. You're definitely an artist, and that makes you a great person :-)
