A total stranger would never guess what is hidden behind old Lyon's wooden doors...

One of the famous 'traboules' could lead you to a charming little courtyard, or an ancient-looking stone staircases, or reveal some curious architecture details :-)

Wall geometry

Whether it is a diagonal, a vertical or a horizontal line I love playing with geometry. Buildings are some very interesting subjects to choose for that purpose, since they offer a rather easy-to-spot symmetrical environment.

After taking those pictures separately and gathering them together afterwards, I thought they would make a pretty color scale, from yellow to pink - what do you think?

OK that's a lot of color-themed articles... But how could I help - Lyon is so full of colors!

It has been raining a lot today, so I do need some sunny colors - here are a few golden bricks to chase this gloomy weather away :-)
