A nostalgic reminder of the beautifully colored flowers blooming in August, especially in the Jardin des plantes :-)

I don't usually enjoy photographing white flowers or animals since it often makes my pictures look somewhat 'flat' in my opinion...

But those were an exception: the perfect geometry in these petals, the incredible softness of the butterfly's wings, and the delicate white hue of those flowers - I like them all :-)

Pink flower

I have no idea what the name of this flower is; however their pink shade was so bright it caught my eyes. They tend to open at sunrise and close at sunset, which I observed with an intrigued glance for quite some days ;-)
