Kériolet castle

Near Concarneau, a must-visit place: the castle of Kériolet, a splendid neo-Gothic monument and its park.

It was the former residence of a 19th-century Russian princess who was a fervent lover of Brittany and was largely inspired by Breton symbols to decorate the castle.

Old Concarneau

The walled town of Concarneau, built in the 15th and 16th centuries, is surprisingly small compared to some other walled cities, but has an undeniable charm.

Especially when one captures by chance an amazing rainbow after a heavy downpour!

Provins medieval fair

As mentioned on their official website, the Medieval Festival of Provins is a 2-day fair where troubadours, acrobats, artisans, merchants of the medieval period are scattered throughout the medieval town of Provins.

They perform dances, music, games, jousting, street performances - cheered at by many fully-costumed enthousiasts :-)
