Spotlights

It is absolutely amazing how the world can change when looking at it from a mirrorless camera, where you can see the future result of the photo being taken. It all appears like magic: blur, bokeh, light effects, etc.

I'm especially interested in bokeh; as I'm still not that used in creating or finding ingenious light sources, I usually move my camera around me until I jump for joy when the expected phenomenon suddenly shows up on my screen/viewfinder!

Here I was not at all planning on photographing any sort of bokeh as no source of lights were in sight, but it so happened that some building site lamps lit up when I was playing with my camera... My jaws just dropped when it appeared before me from nowhere expected :-)

On a recent end-of-autumn day, coming out of my place for a little walk almost at sunset, my eyes were caught by this bushy wild grass for quite some time.

My camera too of course :-)

I just loved the atmosphere that was emerging from this garden!

This will be the last article about animals for some time - I'm definitely back to nature and bokeh after that...

I just wanted to show you the wonderful eyes (especially eyelashes) of some of the cows I saw there, I was truly amazed at this sight :-)

Now that we've almost reached Winter and as Autumn colors enthusiasm is slightly fading, I'm starting to long for Spring again. While looking through older photos, I somehow miss the bright colors and varied shapes that insects and flowers provide me in the warmer seasons!

But let's try to enjoy seasons as they come :-)

I really love autumn as this is the season where both chestnuts and mushrooms show up...

Indeed I find mushrooms a very interesting photography subject: in order to shoot them you have to get much closer to the ground, and this makes you get a very unusual point of view of the world around you :-)

Photos of leaves taken from below, under a source of light: I just love that! 

You can see very precisely each of the leaf veins, and that definitely helps soothing my perfectionist inclination :-)

Yayy, it's that time of the year again: when we go colorful-leaf hunting, chestnut harvesting, and mushrooms digging :-) A few fall pictures from my most recent strolls!
